We provide effective, supportive, bespoke tuition either face-to-face or online.

Our fully vetted, qualified and experienced teaching professionals are on hand to assist with your, or your child’s, learning. We provide effective tuition for all subjects, abilities and ages, from Early Years Foundation Stage up to Degree level qualifications. We can also help with Entrance Examinations (9+, 11+ and 13+) and Home Schooling.  We create individually tailored lessons and our goal is that our tuition sessions are engaging, encouraging and enjoyable in order to accelerate progress. We can do assessments alongside tuition as well as provide progress reports and self-study resources.

    Hello and welcome to Home-School Tutoring Chester & Wrexham. My name is Jen Roberts and I am the Area Advisor for Chester and Wrexham. I am a qualified maths teacher with over 15 years’ experience teaching secondary and A level students. It is a job that has brought me so much joy, nurturing pupils and seeing them flourish.  As I work part-time as a teacher, I have spent many years tutoring alongside this.  I thoroughly enjoy one-to-one sessions where I can quickly find any misconceptions in understanding, boost confidence and build important skills.

    I have a passion and fascination for maths and love teaching students to understand the subject. So many parents come to me worried that their children are struggling and have low confidence. With my patient and nurturing approach I change their attitude to maths.

    At Home-School Tutoring Chester & Wrexham we have a team of tutors who I have personally recruited. All the tutors in the area share the same passion and educational values as me.  All of our tutors are qualified, experienced, insured and have been fully vetted and have an enhanced DBS check.  As a group of tutors, we cover the surrounding areas of Wrexham and Chester including Malpas, Flintshire and Crewe.

    If you feel that your child is falling behind, or are worried they are not achieving their full potential in a particular subject, we are here to help.  We offer one-to-one or group sessions, lessons for home educated students or for students attending schools and for  adult learners too.  We are a flexible team and will do our best to meet your requirements.

    At Home-School Tutoring Chester and Wrexham we aim to offer tutoring in as many subjects as possible for the various different levels and for the aspects that are needed.

    • We have skilled teachers in the three core subjects English, Maths and Science.  
    • We also have many excellent teachers, available as tutors, for a wide range of other subjects including Art, Languages, Geography, History. We also cover a wide range of other subjects across the board.

    Please just enquire and we will endeavour to meet your particular needs.  We are a bespoke service for tutoring and educational services and will do our best to find you the most suitable tutor, for whatever learning help you need. 

    As well as offering one-to-one tuition, we provide online group classes in Maths and English for primary and secondary students.  The group classes are available during the day time, which is suitable for students who are home-schooled. We also offer after-school sessions for any students needing extra support.
